Responsibilities
The Analyst in Spirit Airlines Passenger Revenue Management Department will have the opportunity to maximize total revenue by developing and implementing Pricing and Revenue Management strategies to leverage the strengths of our business model in assigned O&Ds. Works with team members to monitor, evaluate and adjust these strategies to ensure revenue is being maximized.
- Improve total revenue in assigned markets.
- Perform systematic analyses on market-level issues and present findings and recommendations to managers and directors.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of department-level reporting.
- Oversee the pricing structure in assigned markets to ensure they perform as planned.
- Communicate the competitive price structure and pricing actions in the marketplace.
- Work with RM, Scheduling, Marketing, and Distribution to ensure total revenue is being maximized.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs, or technical developments).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Marketing, Pricing, Revenue Management, or Analytics (Airline Pricing/Revenue Management Experience is a plus)
- Comfort and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
- Strategic understanding of social listening and experience interpreting data to deliver insights
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lead and work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Experience in working with agencies and other partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- No travel required.
- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
