Shape Tomorrow’s Technology TodayPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Digital and Analog Circuits and Power Supply Design Engineer to support cutting-edge aerospace programs in Seattle, WA. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of developing high-performance electronic products—designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems that power the next generation of aerospace technology.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Analyze customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications.
Design and validate both digital and analog circuits for advanced aerospace applications.
Work on power supply and distribution systems, ensuring efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Perform design reviews, testing, and analysis to confirm compliance with requirements.
Support Supplier Management with technical recommendations and make/buy decisions.
Provide engineering expertise throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept to troubleshooting.
Investigate emerging technologies and contribute innovative concepts for future designs.
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry with 5+ years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of cable and assembly wiring design, power distribution and control, and system/assembly grounding.
Familiarity with design -ilities (reliability, maintainability, etc.) to ensure robust engineering outcomes.
Proven experience in hardware design and system troubleshooting.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced technical degree (Master’s or PhD).
ABET-accredited engineering education.
Aerospace or defense electronics design experience.
