We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

Electronic Design Lab (EDL) – Engineering Technician
Bring your experience and technical skills to help us develop and fabricate new electronic solutions on the leading edge of vertical flight innovation. You’ll be assembling aircraft cabling, surface mounted circuits, and special test equipment supporting aircraft development through every phase, from research and development to legacy sustainment.
What you’ll be doing as an Engineering Technician
- Building test boxes, cables and wiring harnesses, and printed circuit board prototypes in close collaboration with design engineers.
- Reading manufacturing drawings to assemble test stations or aircraft assemblies (Black Boxes).
- Performing troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of test bench and lab infrastructure equipment.
- Working with SMT equipment and performing modifications to SMT circuit boards.
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Experienced in electronic build tasks including aircraft cable assembly and PCB soldering.
- Able to read and understand aircraft level wiring diagrams.
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and diagrams for metal fabrication and assemblies.
- Familiar with the use of test equipment, trouble shooting and repair of wiring, and isolation.
- Experience wiring serial data interfaces including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS232, Ethernet, IEEE-488.
