Objective:To lead industrial automation projects while managing suppliers, driving site change initiatives, developing team capabilities, and promoting continuous improvement and innovation.Authorities:This position has the power/right to control, command, issue orders, make decisions, assign resources and/or delegate to ensure compliance to the company policies, processes, practices and the defined objectivesMain Function Responsibilities and Activities✓Lead automation projects for the SEPI site while respecting performance objectives (cost, deadlines, quality), while gradually integrating the technologies of the Factory of the Future.✓To identify and raise the needs for automation projects with co-ordination with IE (Industrial Engineer) and continuously find opportunities to automate it.✓Ensure all the automation projects are within the track and have strong control on timelines with IRL methodologies✓Identifying local suppliers for machinery which can be benchspaned to other sites across the division and work towards standardization along with suppliers✓Ensure technological monitoring in the industry and with the Groups sites to identify new projects or innovative solutions and share best practices (organises benchspans with SEP sites or other Group companies).✓To be a POC (Point of Contact) for central teams to co-ordinate the project locally and be an interface between the supplier and central teams for global automation projects✓Manage end-to-end automation projects, including RFQ, planning, development, testing, qualification, and deployment✓Ensure adherence to Machine Development Standards such as ISO 12100✓Collaborate with vendors, calibration teams, and global ISE division for benchspaning and automation updates.✓Work with line leaders, supervisors, and trainers to improve operator performance by identifying the bottlenecks and find ways to simplify it or automate it.✓Support and comply with all Safran HSE policies, GPIs, risk assessments, and audit actions.✓Ensure HSE aspects are considered from the concept phase of the project and it is integrated with co-ordination with HSE teamsTravel to customers, suppliers, subcontractors and the Safran Group sites as and when required✓Strong knowledge on the CE standards and requirements and ensure it is properly integrated into the automation projects✓Identify the projects and propose the CAPEX investment needed with a future roadmap according to the organizations needs✓Stay up-to-date with technical and regulatory developments✓Oversee mandatory inspections and safety maintenance plans✓Serve as custodian for HSE rules, standards and risk assessments✓Apply methodologies such as Lean Management, RCA or FMEA, DMAIC & 8D✓Provide input for obsolescence and propose solutions✓Contribute to investment projects, working with project manager
Job Requirements:

B.Tech in Industrial Automation/Robotics or EquivalentB. Work Experience - Technical Knowledge•4-5 years of experience in managing automation projects from scratch to final deployement•Experience working under ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems and environmental systems•Strong experience in project management•Good knowledge into wiring harness manaufacturing (Advantage)•Knowledge of ergonomic recommendations•Working knowledge of Lean tools, FMEA, line balancing, workstation design, and time study.•Knowledge on QTP & QTRProfessional Skills•Responsiveness and agility•Good communicator•Ability to analyze and synthesize information•Leadership of CFT•Ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-business and multicultural environment•Fluent in English•Ability to adapt to new digital environments and support for Digital Transformation in the company.D.
