* Bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years of experience, or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years of experience, OR a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years of experience, from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
* 5+ years of experience with the principles of flight test or directly supporting flight test operations.
* 5+ years of experience in planning and conducting system-level lab, ground, or flight testing.
* 100+ hours of control room experience as a Test Conductor.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required. Preferred Skills
* 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 5+ years of experience performing tactical aircraft flight testing, planning, and/or executing.
* 5+ years of experience directly interfacing with customers and senior program leadership.
* 5+ years of experience developing detailed test points from system level specification requirements, test planning, execution, and reporting test results. Job Duties & Functions
* Support the development and verification of test methods.
* Develop detailed test procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definitions to perform tests and minimize risk.
* Perform detailed planning and execution of aircraft ground and flight tests.
* Review test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to delivery.
* Prepare and publish test reports to document results and satisfy requirements.
* Present test results internally.
* Archive data and reports.
* Coordinate flight test operations with flight operations, test operations, instrumentation and data systems, system design, fabrication, and assembly teams.
* Train and guide junior test conductors in career development. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Work performed in a control room and flight test environment.
* May require overtime up to 30 percent.
