Position Title: Senior Analyst, Financial Systems
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Financial Systems supports the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of financial systems within JetBlue’s Finance organization. The primary focus of this role will be supporting financial reporting, with additional responsibility for assisting Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities, including complex planning and forecasting, as well as cash flow and fleet-related work.
The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on contributor with experience supporting systems implementations, process transformation efforts within Finance, and knowledge of core Accounting processes. This role will be responsible for executing implementation activities, translating business requirements into scalable solutions, supporting testing and deployment, and driving ongoing system and process improvements after implementation. Experience implementing Oracle EPM or another enterprise performance management (EPM) tool is strongly preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing administration of Finance systems, with a primary focus on Oracle EPM
- Perform hands-on implementation activities including requirements gathering, process documentation, solution design support, testing, defect resolution, and deployment support
- Analyze and document business procedures and requirements and provide input on how to improve efficiency in new or existing financial processes
- Translate business requirements into clear functional, technical, and procedural requirements for IT teams, developers, and external business partners
- Perform scoping, requirements definition, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements and implementations
- Partner with Finance, IT, and external business partners to support financial systems enhancements, integrations, and transformation initiatives
- Support planning, forecasting, reporting, and related data processes within Finance systems
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, data quality, governance, and workflow efficiency across financial systems and reporting processes
- Create and maintain business and technical documentation, training materials, and process guides
- Develop ad hoc reporting, queries, and analyses to support Finance and operational needs
- Assist Managers and Directors with data-driven, technical, or system-related projects as required
