Inventory Control Clerk (Experienced)

Perform a variety of storekeeping, distribution, and warehouse functions in a multi facility environment.   The position requires coordination with various departments to support efficient supply chain operations, maintain stock levels, and facilitate timely distribution of goods. The Inventory Control Clerk 2 also monitors inventory records, conducts cycle counts, and assists in resolving discrepancies to support overall inventory integrity. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential to successfully fulfill these responsibilities.

  • Duties include receiving and issuing parts, raw material or tooling, storekeeping and inventory control, cycle counting, scanning, document control, problem solving and housekeeping. 
  • Participate in developing internal processes and department training of basic inventory control functions.
  • Independently perform stores functions to support our internal customers and maintain inventory control. 
  • Possess basic understanding of related departments and can be a communication focal for others outside of the group.
  • Accuracy, output, and efficiency is consistently strong. 
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation with an action-oriented bias. 
  • Identify problems and play a key role in the resolution of exceptions.
  • Ability to communicate information, written or verbally, that will ensure expected results.
  • Accurately assess daily workload and capacity to ensure turnaround expectations are met. 
  • Solid understanding of internal computer applications for inquiries, report generation, department documentation, data entry and scanning.
  • Understand how to interpret and update work order documentation and other production documents.
  • Operate company vehicles, forklifts and other automated or manually operated equipment as necessary to support stores functions. 
  • Train others in basic stores functions and be accountable for accuracy of work.
  • Cross train in other inventory control groups and meet basic requirements.
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain productivity.
  • Will participate in special projects to support department objectives as directed by supervisor.
  • Possess proactive positive attitude and represent the company/department effectively in all situations. 

  • Legible handwriting, organizational ability, attention to detail, and accuracy in the handling of parts and maintaining records. 
  • Strong communication skills, proven ability to identify variances, solve problems, and a track record of exercising good judgment in making decisions and handling exceptions. 
  • Strong math skills essential.
  • Relevant computer experience including basic PC skills. 
  • Basic understanding of router operations and sketches. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Parker’s requirements.

  • Our 2nd shift receives a shift differential of $2.00 per hour. Our weekend shifts receive $6.00 shift differential pay while working 36 hours per week.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range:  $19.25 - $31.15/hourly
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
