Aircraft maintenance facility in Central FL is looking for an experienced and highly skilled technician to specialize in aircraft engine and component repair and overhaul.
We are based in Sebring Florida where you can raise a family away from the traffic and congestion of the big cities. Sebring is home to the Sebring International Raceway, and the town has a great auto racing vibe. Sebring airport has an interesting history as it began life as a B17 training base during WWII. Sebring has a vibrant and active EAA Chapter.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform disassembly and assembly of Rotax Piston aircraft engines, components, and assemblies in accordance with all regulatory, original
manufacturer, customer, and company requirements using hand tools, power tools, or specified equipment.
- Interpret technical specifications, directives, and relevant publications to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies.
- Interpret technical standards, drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation using mechanical precision measuring tools and instruments as
required; verify the conformance of parts to manuals and blueprints with respect to measurements.
- Troubleshoot to identify problems and repair products according to Rotax specifications and established Shop procedures.
- Check for serviceability, conformity documentation completeness, and compatibility with all Rotax service instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement of maintenance repair processes.
- Cross-train in other complementary skills as needed to support servicing requirements.
- Participate in cross-training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements.
- Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
