Mechanic, Avionics & Structures positions available- Searching for Specific Skill Sets: 8 Aircraft Mechanics, 5 Avionics Technician, 2 Structures Mechanic, 2 Weapons Technician
Clearance: Must hold and Active Secret Clearance
Shifts: Must be able to work all shifts 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 1st shift to start
Travel: 10%-25% travel possible
Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and modifications on MH-139 aircraft and related systems. The position requires hands-on expertise with aircraft tools and equipment, the ability to diagnose and repair complex systems, and the flexibility to work multiple shifts. Technicians will ensure all work meets flight worthiness, safety, and compliance standards, while contributing to the success and readiness of this critical defense program.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with Boeing MH-139 Grey Wolf maintenance and/or modifications
* Experience with rotorcraft maintenance
* Hold or held an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
* General Mechanic experience is desirable
Job Duties/Functions
- Assembles, disassembles, and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
- Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
- Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results)
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight-worthiness requirements
- Works under general direction
