Crew Training Digital Learning Manager

Purpose of the position:
The Crew Training Digital Learning Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital learning solutions for cabin crew training. This role ensures that training content is engaging, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards. It is a strategic and operational role within the Group Training team, contributing to the modernization and efficiency of training delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Design and manage digital learning materials such as e-learning modules, interactive scenarios, multimedia presentations, and virtual simulations tailored for crew training.
- Work closely with subject matter experts, training managers, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with training objectives.
- Administer and maintain the LMS, ensuring content is structured, accessible, and regularly updated to support training operations.
- Monitor and integrate applicable aviation regulations and industry standards into digital content. Ensure all materials meet compliance requirements and reflect the airline’s safety and quality standards.
- Develop and apply evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness. Use feedback and performance data to refine and enhance digital learning materials.
- Manage relationships with external content providers and technology vendors to source and integrate supplementary training tools and resources.
- Stay informed about trends in digital learning and instructional design. Recommend and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve training outcomes.
- Provide technical and instructional support to trainers and trainees in using digital content during training sessions.
- Lead and coordinate multiple content development projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and effective communication across teams.
- Actively participate in Group Training Meetings and Regulation Tracking Meetings to align content strategy with broader training initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role and 2 years in aviation.
- Experience with EASA PART.FCL, PART.CC, and other applicable regulations.
- Proven track record in process optimisation, operational planning, and team leadership.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams in an international environment.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital authoring tools (e.g. Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Rise).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles, SCORM/xAPI standards, and multimedia production workflows.
- Solid understanding of aviation training frameworks for both flight crew and cabin crew.
- University degree in a relevant field such as Education Technology, Instructional Design, Aviation, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- English C1 both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and technology-driven environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Approve and oversee changes to training systems and workflows.
- Represent Group Training in regulatory and vendor matters.
- Supervise and validate operational procedures related to training planning, support, onboarding, and ATO activities.
