Gate Manager M/F

Job Description:

The Gate manager reports to Workshops General Manager responsible for:-Responsible to manage assigned MRO operational Gates by organizing, directing and controlling the work of the operational area.-Ensures reporting staff complies with the objectives on safety, quality, delivery, cost, resources and innovation.-Ensure reporting staff informed of the company technical policy and customer requirements.-Conduct active daily gate management and Quick response quality control meetings to effectively ensure problem solving.-Produce monthly production performance of the operational area and consult with production manager for improvement actions.-Responsible manage the workload balance in responsible engine line to achieve targeted productivity and TAT.-Participate in root cause analysis of maintenance errors or quality escapes and preventive actions.-Ensure technical competencies of staff under control assessed periodically and channel required recurrent mandatory trainings.-Contribute to control the operational cost.-Liaising with SAESI departments (Operations, Materials, Engineering and quality etc.) to ensure smooth and efficient execution of work scope.-Responsible for setting individual PDR objectives and performance management of the reporting staff, including coaching and development.-Responsible for delivering TAT milestones and activate on-time problem solving in close liaison with peer functional leaders.-Identify areas where digital and advance technology tools may improve processes and execute their implementation.-Facilitate EASA/DGCA audits in responsible area and adherence to CAR Part 145 requirements.

Job Requirements:

Familiar with engine MRO functions.Knowledge of civil aviation maintenance and regulations.Good communication skills.Problem solving skills.Green belt certification in LEAN or six sigma or LEAN six sigma preferred.
