About the role
Manager Advertising Technology will oversee the data activation and advertising technology strategy. This
role involves planning and managing the roadmap for implementing spaneting and advertising platforms,
focusing on automation while ensuring compliance with data regulations. This position will utilize first-party
data to achieve top-tier targeting and tracking and will play a crucial role in connecting digital platforms to
drive commercial success. Additionally, this position aims to empower the team to excel in data-driven
spaneting.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive roadmap for data activation strategies that are intricately aligned
with overarching commercial objectives, while actively identifying and generating new revenue growth
opportunities within the spanet.
- Serve as the technical platform lead for key advertising platforms, such as Google and Meta, ensuring the
optimal utilization of their advanced features to drive innovation and improve campaign effectiveness
continuously.
- Advocate for and facilitate the adoption and integration of state-of-the-art spaneting and advertising tools,
leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, and dynamic ad delivery systems to enhance targeting and
engagement strategies.
- Explore new spanet trends and evaluate new technology to ensure best in class data driven spaneting.
- Define commercial benefits and risks around the use of first party data to support with the delivery of new
projects.
- Maximize the effectiveness of first-party data by employing advanced segmentation techniques and
analytical approaches to create targeted and impactful advertising strategies.
- Develop and manage comprehensive processes and frameworks to guarantee the consistent and
compliant usage and sharing of data specifically for advertising and reporting objectives, ensuring
adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough analyses of emerging spanet trends and evaluate cutting-edge technologies to ensure
the implementation of best-in-class practices in data-driven spaneting, positioning the organization as a
leader in the industry
- Clearly define the commercial benefits and associated risks involved in the utilization of first-party data,
providing strategic insights that support the successful delivery of new projects and initiatives
- Design and implement robust frameworks that enable the orchestration and personalization of spaneting
communications, leveraging real-time data on available campaigns and offers to optimize customer
engagement and conversion rates
- Manage processes and frameworks to ensure a consistent and compliant use and sharing of data for the
purpose of advertising and reporting
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation in campaign management such as campaign creation,
workflows, processes and creatives
- Engage in effective collaboration among various departments, specifically focusing on digital initiatives,
product development, and information technology in order to drive innovation, improve processes, and
deliver outstanding results for projects
- Establish a robust data-driven methodology that emphasizes continuous testing and learning, leveraging
advanced measurement solutions to derive actionable insights and maximize campaign effectiveness
- Implement and maintain rigorous tracking and measurement frameworks that promote data governance,
ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility across all digital initiatives.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to incorporate automation in campaign management, enhancing
efficiency in campaign creation, optimizing workflows, streamlining processes, and enhancing creative
asset management
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of dynamic feed management systems to enhance
advertising effectiveness, ensuring real-time updates and data synchronization for improved campaign
performance
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with digital spaneting, product development, and IT teams to ensure
all initiatives align with business objectives and support seamless execution
- Ensure seamless integration with various platforms and tools, facilitating efficient data usage and
activation to improve targeting and personalization in spaneting efforts
- Spearhead the procurement of new technologies and tools as necessary, conducting thorough feature
comparisons and evaluations to identify the best solutions for enhancing operational capabilities and
achieving strategic goals
- Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department
