Position Summary

The Parker Hannifin location in Huntsville, AL (1005 A Cleaner Way, Huntsville 35805) is currently seeking CNC Machinists to work 2nd shift. Starting pay depends upon skills and experience. Shift premium is $2.00/hour.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Set-up and operate CNC machines
Understand CNC programs
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Use precision measuring instruments
Apply machine shop mathematics
Utilize lean principles
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Participate in work groups High Performance Teams for continuous improvement
Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.
Work Conditions:
Standing for 8-10 hours per day; frequent reaching, grasping and lifting up to 25 lbs.; occasional walking; working in and around oil and solvent.
Qualifications
Required Testing:
Basic skills test and interview will be conducted to determine qualifications.
Note:
Some previous education and/or experience operating CNC machines is strongly preferred.
