- Extensive Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant Testing experience is a must.
- Ability to properly operate both film and digital radiographic system equipment.
- Must be certified to Level 3 in Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant per NAS 410 / ASNT testing methods.
- Must be fluent and have a functional understanding of NAS 410.
- Proficient in evaluating radiographic film and/or digital image capture.
- Capable of providing Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) duties and understanding the responsibilities of an RSO.
- Able and willing to train personnel within the scope of required NDT activities as required.
- Able to read engineering documentation and inspect drawings, parts lists, inspection plans, and supplemental instructions.
- Use Microsoft applications and learn new computer programs / applications as required.
- Basic technical writing and communication skills are required.
- Willing to work 2nd shift, overtime, and/or weekend support as required.
- A willingness to travel on occasion to accomplish all required testing.
Preferred Qualifications for NDT Test Examiner 3:
- Perform in-depth reviews of configuration to determine if as-built meets as-designed
- Working knowledge of TipQA and/or Costpoint database applications
- Hold additional certifications such as Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, or Ultrasonic Testing certifications.
- Previous DCMA audit experience a plus.
- Previous experience working in ISO-certified company
